Il laboratorio si inserisce all’interno delle celebrazioni del 250° della morte del violinista bergamasco Pietro Antonio Locatelli e intende guidare il visitatore dalla comprensione elementare di cosa sia il suono fino a come si arrivi a produrne di sublime. Che legame esiste tra un rumore prodotto con un tubo che ruota e la melodia suonata da un esperto violinista? Che differenza c’è tra suono e rumore? Come e perché si producono le note in un flauto ? E in uno strumento a corde ? Come si amplifica e che “forma” ha il suono? Perché sentiamo un suono? In quali modi si può produrre musica? Che cosa è uno strumento musicale e che ruolo ha avuto nei secoli, per esempio nelle opere di artisti bergamaschi come Baschenis o Lotto? Come si costruisce un violino? E che differenza esiste tra un violino barocco ed un violino moderno? Perché il suono di uno Stradivari è unico? Posso sentire e vedere un musicista suonare uno o più “archi” dal vivo!!!
